About Us

What has happened to Conservation, once the word on all our lips?
Has it been sidelined by Personal and Corporate Greed and the Private Gain of a few ?

We are a group of people, based in The Highlands of Scotland, some of  whom have given up 1 day a week of their work to pursue our aim to create a network of groups who link to this site and can use the information and resources we build to help fight  wind farm campaigns on our own turf and to create a national and international voice for a moratorium on windfarm development

We are not associated with any political or other organisation
We receive NO FUNDING and are bearing the cost of our work ourselves
Individuals who offer help and support towards any of this are most welcome to offer the same.

This website aims to try and bring together a range of opinion, information and resources for all of us. People have few financial resources available to them against the vast amounts of money available to global energy giants to spend on marketing and PR and convincing people that wind power is all things good. We present a variety of alternative information that looks at that assertion, questions it and galvanises public awareness and opinion locally, nationally and internationally, seeking for better ways forward that do look to better and more reliable sources of power generation.

We do understand that many people genuinely believe that wind power is the way ahead
It is for the proponents of this idea to argue that case and prove and to provide data for the same.

We do however take very real exception to Mr Ed Milliband's comments as follows that
" It should be socially unacceptable to be against wind turbines in your area – like not wearing your seatbelt”.

We are living in a democracy - Mr Milliband has no right to tell us how to think.
He does however have the right to express his opinions, as do we.
